Vicky Kaushal’s father Sham Kaushal on his Acting skills: Wasn’t sure what the Casting Directors saw in my son

Vicky Kaushal has successfully managed to create a space for himself in Bollywood. His impeccable performance and apt choice have offered him an opportunity to land on a high pedestal. 

He certainly is a big name today, but Kaushal’s father Sham Kaushal wasn’t sure of the actor’s talent until he saw his debut film, ‘Masaan’

During a previous interview, his father and action director Sham Kaushal had reportedly said that he wasn’t sure what the casting directors saw in his son, and believed them only when the reviews came in. Vicky was a star, and he was here to stay. He also added that they couldn’t believe that this was their life now.

Vicky has chosen some of the most diverse films of all time that transcend the contemporary concepts in Bollywood. He was seen in films like Raman Raghav 2.0, Raazi, Sanju, URi, and many more. 

While the actor awaits the lockdown to end he has a few films in his pipeline which include a biopic on Udham Singh and Sam Manekshaw, Karan JOhar’s period drama, ‘Takht’, and the fantasy film ‘Ashwatthama’.
