Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan to star in Laxman Utekar's next?

Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan are set to appear on the same screen for the first time. Previously, it was reported that the two would appear together in the film The Immortal Ashwatthama. The film, however, has reportedly been put on indefinite hold. 

According to the latest reports, director Laxman Utekar has cast the two stars in his upcoming rom-com.

Laxman Utekar is well-known for his films Luka Chuppi and Mimi. Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films provided funding for both films. Utekar's next project with Vicky and Sara will also be supported by the production company. After Love Aaj Kal, this will be Sara's second film with Dinesh Vijan.

According to reports, the film is in the slice-of-life genre, but with a fun, social twist. The film's script was finalised a few months ago. The film will hit theatres on November 15th. 

Meanwhile, Vicky is set to appear in Shoojit Sircar's OTT release Sardar Udham. The film chronicles the lesser-known story of the legendary Indian revolutionary Sardar Udham Singh, delving deep into his boundless courage to avenge the deaths of his countrymen in an event that shook the British Empire. The film will be available on Amazon Prime Video on October 16.

On the other hand, Sara Ali Khan's next film will be Atrangi Re, which will be released on Netflix. Aanand L Rai directed the film, which also stars Akshay Kumar and Dhanush.
