Veteran Ashish Vidyarthi ties the knot with Rupali Barua at 60

In a joyous celebration of love and togetherness, veteran actor Ashish Vidyarthi recently exchanged wedding vows for the second time. The esteemed actor joined hands with fashion entrepreneur Rupali Barua in an intimate ceremony held at a Kolkata club on Thursday. Hailing from Guwahati, Rupali is reportedly associated with a prestigious fashion store in Kolkata. Ashish Vidyarthi was previously married to Rajoshi Barua, the daughter of renowned actor Shakuntala Barua.

According to a report in the Times of India, Ashish Vidyarthi and Rupali Barua opted for a quiet registry marriage, attended solely by their close family members and friends. 

A viral picture circulating on social media showcases Ashish Vidyarthi adorned in a traditional white and gold Mundu. At the same time, his beautiful bride, Rupali, dons an exquisite white Assamese saree with a golden border. Expressing his feelings about the wedding, the actor expressed to TOI, "At this stage of my life, getting married to Rupali is an extraordinary feeling. We had a court marriage in the morning, followed by a delightful get-together in the evening."

When questioned about their journey together, Ashish Vidyarthi playfully hinted at a captivating tale but promised to share it at another time. Meanwhile, Rupali revealed that they had met some time ago and decided to embark on this beautiful journey together. Both of them desired a wedding that was intimate and focused on their close-knit family. Rupali also shared her admiration for the actor, describing him as a beautiful human being with an incredible soul.

Talking about the bride, Rupali graced the occasion wearing a stunning white mekhela chador from Assam.  

Following their nuptials, Ashish and Rupali hosted a formal reception to commemorate their union.
