Veteran actor Ranjeet roped in for Luteri Dulhann

Ranjeet, the popular veteran actor of Bollywood will soon be making his comeback to television with a very significant cameo role in Imagine's upcoming show, Luteri Dulhann. Ranjeet was earlier seen at his comic best in SAB TV's Jugni Chali Jalandhar.

Luteri Dulhann is the tale of a girl who belongs to a family of thugs, and the manner in which she dupes old men for money. As we know, Krishna Gokani of Hamari Devrani fame has been finalized as the protagonist of the show. Ranjeet will play the role of a rich old man who will get duped by the girl.

Our source states, "The channel and BAG Films were looking for a known face to play this important cameo role. Ranjeet has given his nod and he will be shooting very soon".

The actor did confirm the news with us, "Yes, I am playing a cameo in the Imagine show. It feels nice to be back on television, as I tend to get some different comic roles on TV which I could not get in films".

Yajuvendra Singh and Smita Singh play the brother and bhabhi of the female lead, while Sitaram Panchal plays her father.

Luteri Dulhann is expected to launch by the end of March..
