Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor roped in for Sajid Nadiadwala's 'Bawaal'

After the success of 'Chhichhore,' (which won the Best Hindi Feature Film National Award), Sajid Nadiadwala and filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari have announced their new project, 'Bawaal,' starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, which will be released on April 7, 2023.

The award-winning producer-director team is reuniting for Bawaal, which will feature Varun and Janhvi sharing screen space for the first time.

Varun and Janhvi took to their respective social media to share the news with the Judwaa 2 actor.

Varun wrote,

“Ab hoga #BAWAAL! 💥 So excited and grateful to announce my next with the amazing duo, #SajidNadiadwala & @niteshtiwari22 along with @janhvikapoor ♥️ Can't wait to see you in theatres on 7th April 2023 #goodfriday."

Janhvi, on the other hand, wrote, 

“Joining hands with two of the finest, #SajidNadiadwala and @niteshtiwari22 ✨ I’m so grateful and happy to announce my next, #BAWAAL starring opposite @varundvn ♥️ See you in cinemas on 7th April 2023 💥

Though the makers have kept further details of the project under wraps, the big announcement is exciting enough for Varun and Janhvi fans who can't wait to see the two young superstars sizzle on the big screen together soon for a love story, you can't expect anything less than maximum fun and entertainment. The team is set to begin filming soon.

On the work front, Varun Dhawan will next be seen in ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’. Helmed by Raj Mehta, this film also stars Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor in pivotal roles. The film is slated for a theatrical release on June 24, 2022. Along with that, he will also be seen in ‘Bhediya’, alongside Kriti Sanon.

Janhvi, on the other hand, has some very interesting films lined up in her kitty including ‘Good Luck Jerry’ and ‘Dostana 2’. She is also a part of Karan Johar’s passion project ‘Takht’, where she will be seen with Kareena Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt among others.
