Vadivelu's film gets good opening, tops Tamil charts

Chennai, Feb 6 (IANS) 'Indralogathil Naa Azhagappan' is Vadivelu's next release as a hero after the highly successful 'Imsai Arasan'. The film is a big letdown but tops the charts.

The top five Tamil films are:

1. 'Indralogathil Naa Azhagappan' - Director: Thambi Ramiah. Vadivelu has a triple role, but he rants, raves and overacts. The film is a big bore.

2. 'Bheema' - Director: Linguswamy. After a gap of two years, a Vikram starrer came and disappointed everyone.

3. 'Pirivom Sandipom' - Director: Karu Palaniyappan. This Cheran-Sneha starrer, a slow film, is realistically made and that is the only reason why it is bettering its business. The only good film among the Pongal releases.

4. 'Billa' - Director: Vishnu Vardhan. 'Billa' is the biggest hit of Ajith's career and doing better than most Pongal releases.

5. 'Kaalai' - Director: Tarun Gopi. Silamabarsan's 'Kaalai' also has not done well at the box office like all the other Pongal releases.
