Actor Vaani Kapoor has had a rather roller-coaster of a career so far where she began rolling with her debut, Shuddh Desi Romance but wasn't able to capitalise on it with the ambitious yet major misfire in the form of Befikre that arrived three years later.

Three years later again, she starred in War but in a small role. And hence in her career of almost six to seven years, she didn't have too may projects. But she has finally hit the ground running and even attained a lot of love, success and acclaim with the film, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui. Now, she has another major release coming up in the form of Shamshera in March 2022 where she co-stars Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt.

In a recent interview, Kapoor opened up on talking about with Ranbir on Shamshera. She said, "I genuinely have so much respect for him, for the actor he is. You know, he's one of those non-egoistical co-actors who have absolutely no ego, no star-like behaviour. So normal and down to earth, very humble, approachable...very normal," Vaani told news agency.

"You don't feel there is stardom attached to the person because he conducts himself very nicely. I think I have a lot of respect for the way he is and of course, I love his performances and I love watching his movies," she added.

Shamshera is directed by Karan Malhotra. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on March 18, 2022. Shamshera is said to be a dacoit drama set in the 19th century. It will chronicle the story of a dacoit tribe fighting for their right and independence from the British.
