UTV signs multiple deals with Middle East channels

New Delhi, April 15 (IANS) UTV Motion Pictures has signed multiple movie deals with the Middle East's favourite channels like MBC, Infinity TV, Kuwait TV and Abu Dhabi TV to show a selection of their recent films.

'We're happy with our continued association with MBC. We look forward to our movies being aired on channels like Abu Dhabi TV, Infinity TV and Kuwait TV that widen our audience in the Middle East and North Africa region,' Amrita Pandey, vice president- International Distribution and Syndication, said in a statement.

MBC, a free-to-air satellite channel, will telecast movies like 'Chance Pe Dance', 'What's Your Raashee', 'Wake Up Sid' and 'Main Aur Mrs. Khanna' over the next few months.

Infinity TV, Abu Dhabi TV and Kuwait TV, on the other hand, will showcase 'Fashion', 'Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!', 'Jodhaa Akbar', 'Race' and 'Kismat Konnection', amongst others.

Apparently 'Jodhaa Akbar' was also the first Hindi film to be dubbed in Arabic which aired in the Middle East on MBC.
