Uttaran to go for a leap?

Film Farm Productions' show Uttaran on COLORS might see a leap in the coming months.

If sources are to be believed, auditions have started and the hunt is on for the teenage versions of the now young kids, Ichcha and Tapasya.

According to our source, "The show might take a leap post IPL, and the hunt for the new faces to represent Ichcha and Tapasya, as well as the male lead is on. Even when the show launched, this progression in story via leap had been hinted".

"Uttaran has been doing well on the TRP charts, and the ratings have actually increased in the past few weeks. So the decision on whether to take the leap or not is going to be a very crucial decision", adds our source.

As reported earlier, there is a buzz that Uttaran might also see a change in time slot from 10 PM to 7 PM, but nothing has been finalized yet.

When we called Rupali Guha, Creative Director, she said, "If it is regarding Uttaran, please talk to the channel".

We tried calling Producer Pintoo Guha, but he was unavailable for comments.

We could not get any comments on the same from the channel.
