Upasana Singh on if she will work on 'The Kapil Sharma Show',

Comedian Kapil Sharma has now managed to rule the small screen with multiple seasons of his comedy shows on both Colors and Sony TV.

Be it Comedy Nights With Kapil or The Kapil Sharma Show, it has indeed been a great decade of comedy on the small screen. And while things have changed immensely, one massive change has been how the core team of Comedy Nights With Kapil is almost entirely absent as opposed to the ones currently on The Kapil Sharma Show.

One such actor was Upasana Singh, who became a household name with her character of Bua in Comedy Nights With Kapil. And while she did appear in an earlier season of The Kapil Sharma Show, she hasn't appeared ever since.

Recently, there were rumors that she is all set to return to the show but in a recent interview with ETimes TV, she has dismissed these claims. 

Talking about it, Singh said, "When I was playing Bua, it was fun working with Kapil. Later, he started his own show and moved to another channel. I could not move to another channel because I had signed a contract and had to continue working for the channel. There was no rift with Kapil but people thought I wasn't happy working with him."

She added, "I did a few episodes with Kapil but then I realised I wanted to do something creatively satisfying than just be a part of his show for a few minutes. Kapil and I are on good terms and we regularly communicate with each other. I am hoping that he will someday write a role for me because that will justify my talent and creatively satisfy me as an actor. I don't want to work because I have to do something on television. That's the reason, currently, I haven't taken up any projects on television."

She concluded by saying that Kapil is a nice guy and when and if he finds something suitable for her, she will work with him. She mentioned that Kapil also knows that she wouldn't do anything for the heck of it.

We certainly hope the two work together soon.
