Uorfi Javed DEFENDS Ranveer Allahabadia & Samay Raina amid ongoing controversy: 'They do not deserve..'

Known for his informative podcasts, popular content creator Ranveer Allahabadia has found himself in troubled waters after a recent comment of him on Samay Raina's show 'India's Got Latent' went viral on the internet. In the said video, Ranveer can be seen asking a contestant if he would watch his parents have sex for the rest of his life or if he would join them and stop it forever. This comment of the popular creator has led to a widespread outrage, with even CM Devendra Fadnavis demanding action against him. Multiple FIRs demanding the creators' arrest have been lodged.

Amid all of this, Uorfi Javed has now come out in support of Ranveer and Samay and has stated that they do not deserve to be jailed for their comments. Uorfi, who herself had once walked out of Samay's show, states that the comments made by Ranveer may have been distasteful, but he does not deserve to go to the jail for this. Uorfi writes, ''You don't like certain people, you don't like the things that they do or say but demanding for them to go to jail for that? Are you serious? Ummmm! I don't know. Samay is a friend, I have his back but even rest of the people on the panel, what they said was distasteful yes but I don't think they deserve to go to jail for that.''

For the uninformed, while Ranveer has made a public apology for his statement and has mentioned that 'comedy is not his forte,' Samay Raina, Apoorva Makhija and Ashish Chanchlani have refrained from commenting on the situation yet.
