TV Shows that need to END soon!

There are several shows which have been running for more than seven years, and most of them are just stretching their run as they enjoy satisfactory viewership. But the dull and unimaginative content certainly strikes the eyes of many. We list the five shows which need to be put to an end as soon as possible.

The show became an overnight hit and garnered major fan following due to its clean and somewhat realistic story-line. There were no planning and plotting or vamps on the show. Having set on the backdrop of a traditional Rajasthani family in Udaipur, the show brought in a freshness of content. However, over the years, the show is now literally providing repetitive tracks, stretching its run. A happy ending to this show could be with the kids of Naitik and Akshara getting happily married and the couple spending their lives in solace, instead of the kids going through another 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.'

After going through a varied tangents involving the female protagonists' tiffs, love angles etc, the show has literally tried every possible genre adding supernatural, superstitious, black magic and irrelevant melodramatic content which has now reached a saturation. We should await aliens next, if it keeps running for a longer time.

Starting with an unusual concept of an illiterate but principled and obedient girl trying to fit in a rich family and her struggles thereon, the show now has gone into a different tangent altogether, where a similar track is being repeated with the protagonist's kids as the show has crossed over five years of runtime.

A show which was a super hit with the crackling on-screen chemistry of Surbhi Jyoti and Karan Singh Grover managed to grab a lot of eyeballs and fan following. However, adopting one of the most cliched concepts of leaps, where three generations have come and gone (flashes of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi) and the lead male protagonist changing four times, the show has become tiresome in a mere three year run.

A topic that was untouched for ages, when it came to portraying it on the tube, Balika Vadhu did not just receive critical acclaim but also amazing viewership. The show was original and was providing ground-breaking content for a long time, till the protagonist now becoming a grown up, surviving two marriages and now becoming a widow with a daughter, who is going through the same cycle all over again with over seven years of runtime.
