With Babri Masjid debacle completing 22 years today, the issue is still unresolved. Yet the demarcation still exists between Hindus and Muslims, we ask actors whether have they seen any changes or not -

Sachin Parikh who is currently seen in Star Plus' Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon... Ek Baar Phir says - Well, there is a drastic change in people's perception. Its been more than two decades for this pity incidence and I have seen that younger generation has taken communalism with a pinch of salt. I have seen more modern and contemporary approach towards Hindu and Muslim by youngsters a lot which is so good for the nation as a whole, that has also changed minds of those who still think traditionally when it comes to such a sensitive issue of Ram mandir and Babri masjid.
Religion is a matter of faith not of any difference of opinion. A few communist who work more for their self interest even in this present 21st century will still think on the same ground. Its the people of the nation who have to decide whether to support them or to reject them completely.

Ankit Gupta seen as Parth in Channel V' Sadda Haq says - I don't see any changes. Still people are fighting for the same issue. There is still a dispute whether there will be Masjid Temple. Political parties use it for their own good. I would like to say be united, be aware, don't let anybody take undue advantage, be literate to understand what is good for you.

Ravjeet Singh who is currently seen as Chirag in Colors' Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi says- 1992 Babri Masjid Riots were one of its kind massive incident. The ideology, the frame of mind of people were different then than what it is now. It is always better to keep the past behind and move forward and yes, everyone has actually moved forward. While I was living in Delhi, right from Hindus to Sikhs to Muslims, everyone used to live together in one society. Moreover, people now are open to Inter-Asian marriage too. More than anything, people have started accepting and respecting each other and that is the best part.

Ruslaan Mumtaz who was last seen in Sony TV's Kehta Hai Dil... Jee Le Zara says - Honestly speaking, in India we have all learnt to bear the pain and move on. Personally, I feel that on religious grounds nothing has really changed. We still have politicians who try to divide Indians on their religious beliefs. The sad part is that the Government doesn't take a stand on such offenders. However, we still live with the hope that something like the Babri masjid episode will never be repeated again.
