The weekly TRP ratings are out, and the television landscape has seen some interesting shifts. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has managed to hold onto the top spot for the second week in a row, while Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has climbed up the ladder, pushing Anupamaa down by a notch. Meanwhile, Udne Ki Aasha has shown the most significant jump in ratings despite staying at number four, and a new non-fiction entry, Laughter Chefs 2, has made its way into the top five. Here's a detailed look at how the top shows performed this week.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma:

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has retained its number one position for the second consecutive week. The show recorded a TRP of 2.3 points this week, showing a slight improvement from 2.2 points last week. Despite its long run on television, the sitcom continues to maintain a consistent viewer base. Its performance puts it ahead of all other fiction and non-fiction shows in the current ratings chart.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai:

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has made a notable jump to the second position this week. The show earned 2.1 TRP points, improving from 2.0 last week when it was in the third spot. The increase reflects a positive shift in viewer engagement. Its rise has also impacted the rankings of other top shows, most notably pushing Anupamaa to third. The current track of YRKKH revolves around Armaan and Abhira finally coming face to face with each other, however, they are all set to move separate ways in their lives now.
Anupamaa:

Rupali Ganguly's Anupamaa has dropped to the third position this week after consistently holding the second spot in previous weeks. It secured a TRP of 2.0, which is a slight dip from 2.1 last week. The show continues to perform well but has seen a marginal decline in ratings. Its shift in placement reflects growing competition from other daily soaps. The current track of Anupamaa revolves around Anu navigating her way through all the hurdles she has been facing in Mumbai.
Udne Ki Aasha:

Udne Ki Aasha remains at the fourth spot for the second week in a row. However, its TRP has significantly increased to 2.1 points from 1.9 last week. This is one of the biggest gains in viewership among the top five. Despite staying at the same rank, the rise in ratings indicates growing interest in the storyline. For those who do not know, the ratings of Udne Ki Aasha have been seeing a steep fall for the past few weeks, however, looks like the show is finally all set to be back on track.
Laughter Chefs 2:

Laughter Chefs 2 has entered the top five list this week with a TRP of 1.6 points. The show’s entry has pushed Advocate Anjali Awasthi down to the eighth position. With its blend of light-hearted content and celebrity participation, the show has managed to attract a consistent audience, earning it a spot among the highest-rated programs this week.
Apart from the above mentioned shows, Advocate Anjali Awasthi, Jhanak and Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin have suffered massive blows and have fallen down on the trp charts. Whereas, Vasudha and Shiv Shakti Tap Tyaag Tandaav continue enjoying their spots in the top 10 race.
This week’s TRP chart highlights both consistency and change across the top shows. While long-running serials like TMKOC continue to dominate, others like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Udne Ki Aasha are gaining momentum with steady viewer interest. Anupamaa’s slight drop shows that even established shows need to keep pace with audience expectations. The entry of Laughter Chefs 2 into the top five also points to a growing appetite for light entertainment. As competition tightens, the coming weeks will be crucial in determining which shows can sustain or improve their standing.
