TRP Toppers: 'Udaariyaan' now beats 'Imlie' to get into Top 3

The day of TRPs is here again and it is indeed exciting to witness an array of changed happening in multiple weeks now. While the proceedings have been unchanged overall even right now, one change continues to pleasantly surprise one or the other.

5. Yeh Hai Chahatein

Yeh Hai Chahatein has now been rather consistent in the Top 5 for a while now and continues to stay put every week. Now the show has been on the 5th spot with great numbers and this week is no different. The show managed to grab a good 2.5 points to stay and do well.

4. Imlie

Coming across as quite a shock, Star Plus' usually consistent Imlie has lost some numbers and hence lost the position as well. The show, after being rock-solid on the 3rd spot for multiple weeks now and now fallen to the 4th spot grabbing 2.6 points. Even though the numbers aren't as bad as one or expect, it has been on the lower side.

3. Udaariyaan

After making a great debut in the list a couple of weeks ago, Udaariyaan continues to pleasantly surprise one and all. The Colors show has been on the constant rise every week and against all odds, the show has now entered the Top 3 and is on on the 3rd spot. It did so grabbing a fantastic 2.9 points, which is a new high for the show.

2. Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin

There may be changes in the lower half of the Top 5 every week but the top half witnesses no difference every week. And once again, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is here and rolling on the 2nd spot with a great 3.4 points. The consistency for the show and the twists have been alluring for viewers to stay put.

1. Anupamaa

Nothing has been enough to topple Anupamaa from the top spot. But a couple of weeks ago, the show did witness a slight scare as it dropped surprisingly a lot of points and just edged to top. But none of that matters now, as the show is still on top and did so with big numbers at 4.0 points.

Udaariyan is a horrible show! The actors barring Priyanka are all pathetic. Overacting and the tracks are so cliched. There is nothing remotely likeable about this show and YHC is one messed up show. Rudraksh is a famous pop star at one time and not people barely even recognise him. Pop star se hotel manager and Preesha? Other than medicine she is doing everything else. Donno about Imlie. Ghum is just running in circles and Anupama is probably better among the serials on TV. At least there is something progressive about it.

Happy for Anupama, YHC, GHKPM and Imlie.

Glad to see Star is the only Hindi GEC whose GRP is above 200.

Waiting for a solid show at 7.00 pm slot like Karthika Deepam remake or something.

Saddened to see the abysmal performance of the “early evening” shows (aka ANNS, CKMDK, MHRW and ZMGA)

As an avid viewer of ZMGA I find all the core components that compose a great TRP-centric show but alas audience is not clicking.

Placing VIDROHI at 6.30 pm slot is a mistake according to me as generally historicals don’t air so early. Imagine the TRP Jodha Akbar would’ve got had Zee placed it at 6.30 😳.

Overall happy with the performance of SP, the clear cut market leader. Waiting for ANKAHEE DASTAAN especially the Nazar Episode.

What a journey from 0.7 to 2.9 in 4 months.
