TRP Toppers: All Star Plus shows in Top 5; 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2' re-enters

Another week of TRPs is here and while last week was a one-off where we saw Bigg Boss 14 going out with a bang, this week, we are back to business and the usuals.

We do have one major surprise and some other regular occurrences - so without further ado, let's roll with it-

5. Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2

Coming in as a surprise at number 5 this week is Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2. Ever since it launched, the show hasn't entirely been a regular figure in the list. It's entry and exit in the list has been recurring and unforuntately, more often than not, the show has been out of it. However, this week is a happy instance as not only does it re-enter the list after an incredibly long time but does with a staggering 3.2 points.

4. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

The longest-running show on Hindi television continues to prove every single week how its supremacy is unparalleled in so many ways. The show has gained a lot of momentum lately where after a slump over a month ago, it is now witnessing multiple weeks of being in the list. This week too, the consistency is intact as the show even climbed one spot up to the 4th position grabbing a pretty amazing 3.3 points to do so.

3. Imlie

It isn't a surprise anymore to see recently launched shows doing wonders on the TRP charts where Imlie has absolutely been an underdog to say the least. The show has furthermore saw a consistent hold over the 2nd spot for a long time now. This week though, becomes one of those instances where Imlie witnesses a mild drop to the 3rd spot still grabbing a fantastic 3.6 points.

2. Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin

Easily one of the top shows not just for Star Plus but in general - Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin has been an underdog story of sorts. Even though it stars Neil Bhatt, a relatively known name in the lead but to be able to still fetch the astronomical numbers that it does every week - is a feat. With a temporary fall to the 4th spot last week, it more than makes up for it coming right up to the 2nd spot with a great 3.6 points.

1. Anupamaa

No matter whatever happens in the positions below, Anupamaa has been one show that continues to remain entirely unfazed every week. The show has been breaking more records than we can count and it continues to do that every week. This week is no different as the Rupali Ganguly-led Anupamaa not only topped once again but did so with a staggering 4.3 points.

I will choose to watch remakes over so called originals where the focus is on making a joke on transgender life, childult love, tortured nachaniya, romanticized abuse and sugerdaddy love story. Brilliant work SP !! Keep the viewers engaged with your STRONG & EMPOWERED WOMAN. The channels who had to lose the steam had already lost. Now its your time to shine !!! Rotlu leads ? GOOD JOKE !!

Some serial i cant understand what is their actual concept ki social drama serial hai ya cid serial . Naam to social drama ka rakhte hain but kahaani cid jaisi
Social drama mein romance ka bhi kam importance rehta hai . Social drama ka main aim hota hai social eviness se aware karana aur use discourrage karna
But yaanchan to romance ko social drama se jyaada imporant dikhaya jaa raha
Jub itna poor excution hai to TRP kaha se bhadegi

Fancy title of old movies. Remakes and no creativity. Star Plus accha short cut mara hai. Atleast Zee Sony Colors has more originality. None of the Top 5 shows appeal me at all. All shows will loose steam within 3 -4 months. IPL ke aate hi band baj jayegi sab roltu leads ki
