Toxic The Movie: Yash movie a 'banger' certifies John Wick action director

Yash and Geetu Mohandas’ Toxic: The Movie is slated to release by the end of 2025 around the third week of December. The action sequences of the film have wrapped up. John Wick, Iron Man and Mortal Kombat action director JJ Perry has choreographed the action sequences of the movie. Toxic: The Movie has Yash, Kiara Advani and Nayanthara in lead roles. It is a period mafia drama with a great story involving siblings. JJ Perry has praised the team and promised fans a “banger of a movie”. In this picture, we can also see superstar Yash. The macho star replied to his Instagram comment saying, “My friend, working with you was straight up, raw power.”

It looks like the shoot is on track. Toxic was supposed to come out in April 2025 but Yash confirmed that the team cannot meet that date. A big schedule happened in Mumbai where Yash was joined by actress Kiara Advani. Some rumours had also spread that he was unhappy with their chemistry and demanded a reshoot of the same. Later, the team dismissed these as baseless rumours. Toxic: The Movie has been filmed in Mumbai, Bengaluru and Pune. Even Tara Sutaria is a part of the film.

Toxic is going to be a Pan-India movie. Geetu Mohandas has won the National Award for Liar’s Dice. They will dub it in other languages besides Kannada and Hindi. The team is planning a big international release as well. Of late, Indian action movies are doing good business in new markets like Japan. There is a push from filmmakers as well to promote overseas. After KGF, Yash was looking at a movie that would do justice to his superstar status. The KGF films made Yash’s Rocky Bhai a sensation all over India. Toxic makers began major work on the film with a temple visit earlier this year.
