Top names approached to host Star Vivaah..

Star Plus' matrimonial show Star Vivaah will have a male host accompanying Additi Shirwaiker, and the big names approached are Mohnish Behl, Anupam Kher, J.D. Majethia..

Yesterday, we had reported that Star Plus' upcoming reality show Star Vivaah, produced by BAG Films is all set to go on floors.

We had also stated that Additi Shirwaiker will be seen hosting the show which is on the grounds of match-making.

According to our source, "The hosts for the show will be a combination of beauty and age, wherein the female will be young while the male host will be of middle age. While Additi Shirwaiker has been finalized as the female host, we have still not zeroed in on the male host".

"The big names who have been approached to host Star Vivaah are Anupam Kher, Mohnish Behl and J.D. Majethia. However, we have not finalized on the name yet", adds our source.

We messaged J.D. and asked him whether he is anchoring the matrimonial show on Star Plus, and he replied in text saying, "I am not doing the show".

We called Mohnish Behl who essays the role of Dr. Shashank in Star One's Dill Mill Gayye, and he was quick to say, "I don't want to comment anything on the show now".

We could not get thro' to Anupam Kher. We tried calling Nilanjana Puryakastha, Supervising Producer of BAG Films, but she remained unavailable for comments.

Let's wait and see who gets to host this unique matrimonial show with the pretty damsel, Additi…

why Star plus is copying the original concept of Geo Tv Pakistan which has aired the successful show shaadi online. The concept of shaadi online is the same as will be shown on star vivaah when female host will be young and male host will be middle aged. I thought Star plus believed in originality but i guess they have run out of ideas, that is why their creative team is copying Pakistani channel.

Shaadi online
It is an old show and still continues, also it has a young female host and an old male host. They also fix real life marriages.

I agree, Vidya does look much older than him. Shahid has the childish look to him which makes him look very young when paired with Bebo or Vidya.
