Tokyo calling for Pavitra Rishta after Balika Vadhu!

After Balika Vadhu, its time for Pavitra Rishta to be part of the 4th International Drama Awards at Tokyo..

Last year Balika Vadhu of Colors was nominated and called by Tokyo for their International Drama Awards. This time it's time for Zee TV's Pavitra Rishta to the hoist Indian flag in Tokyo.

A source says, "For the 4th International Drama Awards, Pavitra Rishta has been nominated from Indian Television to grace the event and receive the trophy. Last year it was Balika Vadhu which had been selected from India to participate in the award functions. This time, Pooja Pihal (Shravani) and Savita Prabhune (Sulochana Aai) are invited to grace the event and represent the whole Pavitra Rishta Team."

"They both will fly today for Tokya. They have their flight for Tokyo today at mid night and will most probably return on the 27th of this month. The award function will be held on 25th of this month," adds our source.

We tried contacting Savita Prabhune but she remained unavailable for comment while Pooja says, "Yes, I am feeling excited that in spite of so many daily soaps, Pavitra Rishta has been chosen to represent International Drama at Tokyo from India."

"I am very excited for the award function and also waiting to hear the name Pavitra Rishta at the function," adds excited Pooja.
