Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been the channel's longest running shows and has many achievements to boast of. But one of the ensemble cast members achieved something that none of the cast members have in the past 8 years.
Actress Kanchi Singh, who essays the role of Naira's (Shivangi Joshi) cousin, Gayu has attained a record of sorts. The actress is the first amongst the cast to have garnered 1 million followers on Instagram.
We got in touch with Kanchi to congratulate her and she said, "It's really something unexpected and feels great. It's overwhelming to see how much people love me and I am glad for all the love that I receive. People really love me, and I am happy and blessed."
