This time, I wanted to do something more profound: Ulka Gupta on her film 'Modern Love Hyderabad,' & more

Ulka Gupta who is winning hearts with her performance in Star Plus's recently launched show 'Banni chow home delivery' is currently riding high on success as her show has been topping the TRP charts ever since its launch. Well, Ulka, who has made her OTT debut with Amazon Prime video's upcoming film/anthology 'Modern love Hyderabad' got in an exclusive conversation with India Forums and spilt some details on her film and a lot more.

Talking about that one driving factor about 'Modern love Hyderabad' the actress said, ''This film is an anthology which is made by Nagesh Kukunoor. He was the only reason that I decided to pick up this film. I have been a part of a few Telugu films. But this time, I wanted to do something more profound. I have been a part of Television, I have done regional films too. I wanted to try something in the world of OTT now. The story was very realistic. My story is a very beautiful one too, it is a story of a beautiful bond between a father and daughter. The concept is love doesnt always have to be romantic. You can love your father, your mother, your maid, your teacher, your bestfriend anyone. This is how random love can be. And who does not want to work with Nagesh sir after all? I have been promoted very well and I feel like a part of the Amazon OTT world. I have been receiving amazing response so far.''

We asked the actress how has she been juggling between the promotions of her film and the shoot of her daily soap 'Banni Chow home delivery' and the actress said, ''Well, it is really difficult. I have been going to Hyderabad every month for the promotions and to complete whatever that is left. There is so much other work that is coming my way, but unfortunately I am unable to pick it up because I am so tied up with the shoot of my daily soap. I have a prior commitment that needs to be fulfilled and shot this October, lets see how will I complete it. Everyone knows, with daily soaps we are packed with work for the whole month and we go home just to sleep. I do manage my work at the end of the day. You know when you are mad and passionate about your work, you figure out ways to balance it all.''

Ulka's anthology Modern Love Hyderabad released on Amazon Prime video on the 8th of July and has been receiving a lot of love from the audience.
