This Jamai Raja actress gets roped in for Star Plus' Naamkarann

The talented actress Shruti Ulfat will be soon making a markable entry in Star Plus' popular show Naamkarann.

The actress was last seen in Jamai Raja and Nagarjun - Ek Yoddha. Shruti will play mother to the male protagonist, Neil (Zain Imam). The pretty lady will be seen in a completely new look where she will be playing a modern mother in the show.

Shruti spoke to Tellybuzz and informed that the character is very interesting and different. She said, "This is a fun character. I am playing a jolly Punjabi mother who is obsessed with her son and is very possessive about him. She tries to be a modern mother and attempts to speak in English."

She also added, "The best part is she is not saree or salwar kameez cladded and wears fancy modern clothes."

It will be indeed interesting to see her play such a character.
