This is utter rubbish: Uncle Mukesh Bhatt on Alia’s much-awaited wedding

Many A-lister actresses tied the knot last year and fans are eagerly waiting for Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor to do the same. A few days back, the reports of the couple planning to get married in 2020 started doing the rounds on the internet. As per SpotboyE reports, the Highway actress has decided on her wedding outfit and has reportedly ordered a Sabyasachi lehenga for her wedding with beau Ranbir!

Now after all the speculations, in.com contacted Alia’s uncle Mukesh Bhatt to further confirm the good news. The producer of Aashiqui 2 rubbished all those rumours and said, “This is utter rubbish. Who is spreading these rumours?”

The same entertainment website also had a brief chat with Alia’s step-brother Rahul Bhatt about the same. He revealed, “Alia is my step-sister. We don’t stay together. I don’t know much about her life’s development. However, I do like their (Alia-Ranbir’s) Jodi. If I am invited to the wedding, I will definitely like to be a part of it.”

Though the parents of the 26-year-old actress, Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan were unavailable to comment, Alia’s mother Soni had once told IANS, “It is a totally baseless rumour!”

The couple admitted their relationship very openly last year during the wedding of another Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor who completed a year of her marriage on Wednesday.

On the work front, Alia will be seen in 3 big projects – Brahmastra alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan, Inshallah alongside Salman Khan and RRR alongside Ram Charan.  Ranbir on the other hand will be seen in Brahmastra and Shamshera.
