This ACTRESS has been roped in for Diya Aur Baati Hum Season 2!

The saga of an aspiring IPS officer and her struggle with married life and in the midst of the struggle, a blooming love story of Sandhya and Sooraj Rathi; Diya aur Baati Hum had stolen significant screens across the nation. The successful drama recently dropped its curtain and is ready with its season 2.

Diya aur Baati Hum has a number of young actors in its bank and the new one to join in is Actress Swati Kapoor. She will be playing Avinesh Rekhi's sister in the show.

The sources have said, "While the new generation of Rathi family will be headed by Bhabho and Babasa, the other family, that of Avinesh will be headed by Sadiya Siddiqui."

In addition, we have also heard that Madhura Naik has been roped in to play the role of Pallomi, one which is similar to that of Meera Bai, but with an added touch of modern living.

The makers have roped in Rhea Sharma, Mayank Arora, Kabeer K.

Diya aur Baati Hum season 2 is expected to launch in the last week of February or the beginning of March.
