There was a fire in me while doing the scene: Jay Soni on a scene from ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai'

Star Plus show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ is getting quite exciting with each passing episode. The current track of the show revolves around the story taking a leap post which Akshara is staying with Abhinav (Jay Soni) and has delivered a baby boy named Abhir. Abhimanyu has become a father figure for Aarohi and Neil’s baby Ruhi.

Abhinav has been a rock-solid support system for Akshara. Post leap, Abhinav has become a father for Abhir. Their family goes through a difficult financial state while Abhir gets upset with his father not being able to fulfil his demands. Akshara plans to reveal Abhinav’s struggle to Abhir and narrates the way Abhinav managed to take her to the hospital during her labor pain. 

In the flashback scene, Abhinav lifts Akshara on his back and runs to take her to the hospital on time. He stays awake for four nights taking care of Abhir while Akshara was recovering. Akshu makes Abhir realize that his father is a super hero. 

The character has been established beautifully through these scenes and fans are loving the character of Abhinav. A few fans took to social media and stated that Abhinav is genuinely a super hero.

India Forums got in touch with Jay Soni who plays the character of Abhinav in the show and asked him about his experience shooting for the difficult flashback scenes, he said, “There were a lot of emotions that I went through while shooting for the scene. It was hectic, I was excited and nervous too. Along with me the entire team was excited for the scene as it was quite a different scene to shoot. I don’t know, there was some unexplained fire that I experienced while performing the scene. Not only me, the entire team was quite charged up and looking forward to the scene. The entire team made it possible as it was quite difficult to pull it off”.

Talking about the feedback from fans, Jay added, “The feedback has been crazy. Fans are loving the character and performances of everyone. I give the credit to the entire team. It wouldn’t have been possible without them”.

When asked about shooting with Pranali Rathod (Akshara), he added, “It is great working with her and the atmosphere on the sets is always lively and positive”.
