There can never be another like you: Mahesh Shetty on Sushant Singh Rajput’s birth anniversary

Popular television and Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death came as a shock for the entire nation. The actor allegedly committed suicide on 14th June 2020 at his rented apartment in Bandra West. The nation couldn’t come to terms with the tragedy and there were many theories put forth by media and close friends of the actors. The alleged suicide was discussed at length on news channels and on social media.

Today is Sushant’s birth anniversary and his close friends and family have been remembering him on this special day. Sushant’s then girlfriend Rhea Chakroborty also posted pictures with him. 

As per reports, before taking the drastic step, Sushant had called his best friend Mahesh Shetty but the call couldn’t connect and they couldn’t speak. Mahesh and Sushant were best of friends since ‘Pavitra Rishta’ days. On Sushant’s birthday today, Mahesh took to social media and penned down an emotional note.

He wrote: "As long as you were... I was, now just in your memories, I come alive, like a shadow just a flicker, time doesn't move here, It’s beautiful, It’s forever…" didn't know it at that time when u wrote it and so excitedly showed it to me, that these words would mean so much now.

"Never a dull moment when you are around" was actually penned for you bro. Will remember & celebrate each day like your inquisitive self always did. There can never be another like you. Love u always kamini.
