The Real Guru

Anupam Kher's acting school, Actor Prepares, is always in the news. The institute invites professionals in the news for some stimulating interactive sessions. Recently, Imtiaz Ali, who is making heads turn after 'Jab We Met', was one such invitee. When the students grilled him on how one becomes successful, he asked them not to behave like journalists. What many present there did not know that Imtiaz started his journey to success by directing Anupam Kher's television serial, 'Imtihaan'. This makes Kher his guru, in a way. Perhaps this session was a guru-dakshina to his guru.
