The picture of Deepika Padukone posing with Kendall Jenner in New York is taking over the internet!

A few days back actress Deepika Padukone confirmed her role in Kabir Khan's upcoming directorial titled '83, opposite husband and actor Ranveer Singh. In the film, she will be seen playing the role of Kapil Dev's wife Romi Dev.

Deepika, an advocate of mental health awareness attended the Anxiety Youth Centre Dinner held by the New York Presbyterian Hospital, along with other Hollywood celebrities. The Bollywood actress met supermodel Kendall Jenner at the same event and the two posed happily for the paps. 

Deepika looked stunning in a fringed Alberta Ferretti pantsuit paired up with dangling earrings, while Kendall opted for an orange bodycon dress. The two beauties were all smiles and shared a frame at the event. 

The Piku star shared the picture on her Instagram with a special message for Kendall. She wrote, “I had the pleasure of meeting this beautiful soul...I wish you all the joy in the world and peace of mind...always!” 

Celebrity hairstylist Gabriel Georgiou also shared a picture of the twp stars on Instagram, and the pictures are taking over the internet!

During the event, Deepika spoke to Vogue about dealing with depression. She said, "To put on a front every single day like everything is okay in your life when actually that’s far from reality. You’re smiling and bringing joy into other people’s lives when you have none."

The Bollywood actress also shared a black and white photograph of herself on her Instagram page and spoke about her experience with mental illness. "Mental illness has presented society with a very tough challenge... But my experience with the illness has taught me so much; to be patient for one... But most importantly that there is ‘Hope'!" she wrote alongside the image.

Deepika has just wrapped up Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak, and will be next seen in Kabir Khan’s ‘83.
