The humor will definitely be the x-factor of show-Deeya Singh

DJ Creative Unit, has given some of the very good contents to our television industry. Once again the production house is back with their new venture on Star Plus titled as Sumit Sambhal Lega.

Lets here it from the producer Deeya Singh more about the show.

Your upcoming Sumit Sambhal lega is an adaptation of a popular foreign series Everyone Loves Raymond, so what do you have to say about it?

It's great for DJ Creation because it's the only company in India which has done so many adaptations. It's really special to be a part of television industry because as much as its fun to create original content it's also really humbling to do series which is so big in America and all over the world.

So what made you to produce the Indian version of the show?

It's a universal truth that works everywhere in the world. The show talks about the struggle of a man, how he is caught up in situations. As most television talks about women but for the first time we are talking about problems a man faces by getting sandwiched between two women in his life and how does he manages to find a balance between the two. Such story could be anywhere and that is the beauty of this show which is why it appealed to us and that's why we are getting the show in India.

What will be the X factor of the show?

All these shows have a very heavy impact of laughing together, if the whole family can sit and laugh together that will be an awesome thing. So humor will be definitely be the x-factor of show. Also as far as the comedy and the cast are concerned, they are going to give a really special experience to the viewers as the has been produced like a play. It will give a you feeling that you are enjoying a live play sitting in your drawing room.

How confident you are about the show and do you think that it will be able to grab the eyeballs?

As a producer, I am confident about what I have put in. We have done very little work for the company in the last one year. Out of choice we decided to commit to our self to this, because there was so much learning and unlearning that we had to do and when something challenging came our way, we felt like climbing small mountains and then go and climb Kailash Mountain. You can't have the same preposition for both, because one is 60000 feet and the other is 8000 feet. I think the way DJ and all the people associated with the show have gone about it, it's really commendable and that gives me a lot of confidence. For the first time in Indian Television Industry we had set up a room called Writer's Room, so all the writers work together because comedy cannot be done alone, everybody needs to brains storm in every episode. This is the way Americans write television series. We have already shot for 80 episodes and the entire team is confident about the efforts they have put it.

DJ Creative is coming up with two comedy show, Police Police and Sumit Sambhal Lega, So what's next?

We are doing a couple of other shows as well. However, it's too early to talk about it. I really want to see the birth of Sumit Samhal Lega on-air; it's been in the womb since a year now.
