Tera Mera Saath Rahe's Priyamvada Kant: People are telling me how amazing it is so I guess it is working

Tera Mera Saath Rahe on Star Bharat went on-air with Giaa Manek, Rupal Patel, and Mohammad Nazim amid a lot of fanfare. The show is about to clock in 100 episodes by the end of this year and has been in the news every now and then. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai's Priyamvada Kant made for quite an interesting entry in the show as it brought about a lot of twists and turns and continues to do so. India Forums spoke to her about the response she has been getting, TRPs, her bond on-sets and more. Read the conversation here.

How has the show been faring for you and what is the kind of response you've been getting?

The response has been great, people are loving my character. I was supposed to be here for a bit, but seems like I am going to stay here for a while because me entering the show has completely changed the dynamics, and now it seems like there's another very important character people are going to remember when they think of this show. 

TRPs do matter and in the end, there's only so much one can worry about it. What do you think about it?

I think the show is doing really well, it is a flagship for the channel, so they are taking a lot of interest in the show and it is really doing well for them for whatever audience they have, I think people are really liking it and watching the show and enjoying it. My Instagram is full of edits and dms, and people telling me how amazing it is so I guess it is working.

How has it been shooting with the team and what is the kind of bonds you have with Gia, Rupal ma'am, and others?

My bond is great with everyone on sets, initially I was a little apprehensive, because whenever you enter a new show, you don't know anybody, you are not sure how comfortable you are going to be but since the three of them have been working together for years, I thought it'll be difficult but it was so nice and they are such warm people and I feel very comfortable and I am having a really good time working together.

What is the kind of work you're looking to do ahead?

Well, my future plans, you can never predict, I am not going to be doing this show, but it is going to be something different and exciting and challenging for sure, that's what I have always tried to do and entertain my audiences, bring something new, whether it is Tenali, or this show.
