Telly celebs speak about Children's Day!!!

On the occasion of Children’s Day, our TV celebs reminisce their childhood days and cherish those special moments in their life…

14th November is widely celebrated as Children's Day. It marks the birthday of our beloved and first prime minister of the nation Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. He used to love children's adorable nature and so dedicated this very special day to small kids.

Let's see what our TV celebs share with us about their childhood days...

Sangeeta Ghosh as Saanchi in Kehta Hai Dil... Jee Le Zara:

"I have very fond memories of children's day. In my school we used to celebrate by having plays and performances by students itself. I remember we used to get this box of chocolates every year from our school and I always used to look forward for it.  I feel in everyone's life childhood days are the best days one can never ever forget."

Ruslaan Mumtaaz as Dhruv in Kehta Hai Dil... Jee Le Zara:

"I was very mischievous child; I used to be a big prankster in my school. We had this boy's gang who used to always find ways to trouble our teachers. But still I was the favorite of all teachers; I was like those popular kids in the class. On children's day we all friends used to go out and celebrate. It was so much fun and I always want to go back and relive those days."

Delnaaz Irani as Dilshaad in Kehta Hai Dil... Jee Le Zara:

"As a kid I was a very shy person, I used to have very less friends and used to be in my own world. But as I grew I changed and become an extrovert. On children's day all I remember is that in school we used to play songs and celebrate it with all our teachers and class friends."

Keerti Nagpure as Nandini in Desh Ki Beti Nandini:

"On children's day we used to have a lot of fun.  In my school we used to have this special ceremony dedicated to Nehruji, in a form of skits or plays. And after that we all students used to get gifts from our teachers. As a kid that time even getting a small gift used to make us feel so special. I love the fact that we used to be so carefree."

Rafi Malik as Rajveer in Desh Ki Beti Nandini:

"The best part of my life was my childhood days. I remember on the children's day me and my parents used to go to the orphanages and distribute sweets and clothes to them. My parents always taught me that to gain happiness we should first give it to others. It indeed was a pleasure watching the little kids happy even with those small sweets."

Sonia Bilani as Pihu in Bade Acche Lagte Hai:

"From my childhood days the best days were my school days. I was a very naughty child, a bit notorious who was back bencher average in studies but was always high in extracurricular activities. On children's day we used to have performances of dance and play and I was the first one to take part in all these activities. The best part my childhood were my friends who are with me till date."

Faisal I Khan as Maharana Pratap from Bharat Ka Veer Putra - Maharana Pratap:

"As my mother tells me, in my early childhood days I was a very naughty child. I used to be always up with some or the other mischief. But at the same time whenever my parents scolded me I used to always listen to them. On children's day my school always organizes dance and games for all the students. I was the lead in all the dance performances and I used to feel so good when my teachers used to come and appreciate me. After the celebration I and my friends used to go somewhere to party and celebrate. It is great fun."

Rajshri Thakur Vaidya as Jaywantabai in Bharat Ka Veer Putra - Maharana Pratap:

"It indeed is a wonderful thing to celebrate children's day and acknowledge the future heroes of our country. But at the same time it is extremely important that one does not overlook serious problems prevailing in our country which are related to the future generation. Child labor, lack of education for underprivileged kids etc. It's our responsibility to make a difference by doing our bit.

Aashka Goradia as Dheer Bai Bhatiyani in Bharat Ka Veer Putra - Maharana Pratap :

"I love children; the world child itself invokes the strongest human emotion. I am really looking forward celebrating this day not just with my family but also with those don't have a family. I urge all my fans to dedicate some time on this day and make someone feel special. The happiness you will get will know no bounds.
