Telly celebs feel nostalgic on Eid!

After the holy month of Ramadan, here comes the moment to celebrate as Eid is here! Everyone is celebrating Eid with special Eid food, wearing new clothes, getting Eidi, and being together with the family members but this doesn't always happen with our Telly celebs as their hectic shoot schedule doesn't always allow them to visit their hometown during Eid to spend time with their family members.

Our Telly celebs who are staying away from their home, do miss their home on Eid as they have to stay alone in Mumbai to celebrate the festival. TellyBuzz spoke to some of them to know more about their plans to celebrate Eid away from their family and what are they going to miss the most about the celebration with their family.

Shaheer Shaikh, who is all set to be seen as Arjun in Star Plus' upcoming show Mahabharat, belongs to Jammu and won't be able to visit his hometown this year. Talking about his plans to celebrate Eid in Mumbai this year, he told us, "I won't be going to Jammu this year but I might go to Pune to join my college friends' wedding. I will be celebrating Eid with his family. I will miss being with my parents on the occasion like Eid when you like to be with your family. I will also miss my Mom's food."

Talking about the Eidi and giving Eid message to the fans, he told us, "Bade ho gaye hain ab, bachpan mein Eidi milti thi (chuckles). I do give Eidis to my younger cousins and all other kids of my family. Eid is the time to spend time with parents and family but one should not also forget that you must also help the needy ones who don't have resources to celebrate the festival. Help the needy ones with money or in whichever other ways you can help them."  

Mohammad Nazim who plays Ahem in Star Plus' Saath Nibhana Saathiya is lucky this time as he is going to celebrate Eid with his family this year. He says, "I will be celebrating Eid this year with my friends and family at my hometown this year. All my cousins and friends will be there and I am feeling very excited about it. I will be there for 4 days. Most of the times I have celebrated Eid with my family but I remember that 4 years back I couldn't go to my hometown because I got a call from the casting people for the look test as I was finalized for a role. That is the time I missed them a lot."

He further added, "I have taken gifts for my mom and sister which will be a surprise for them. It's the festival of Eid so celebrate it together and spread love. I hope you all have sheer khurma wherever you will go and remember me as well."

Ayaz Ahmad, who plays Raghu in Life Ok's Do Dil Ek Jaan, will be celebrating Eid here in Mumbai this year as he will be busy with his shoots. Says Ayaz, "I will be busy shooting so I couldn't go to my hometown this year. I will miss my family, relatives, friends and the amazing Biryani cooked by my Mom. I don't know many people in Mumbai so I don't celebrate Eid that much. I will probably be meeting one of my cousins who stays in Mumbai. It's time to give Eidi to the younger ones but they all are in Kolkata."

"Eid is a wonderful festival. A festival to enjoy delicious meals like Biryani, Sevaiyaan and have a blast," concludes Ayaz wishing his fans on Eid.
