Tarun Mehta's passionate past time

In the tensed and tight schedule of daily soaps, the actors prefer to spend their time relaxing whenever they get a lucky break. But Swarn aka Tarun Mehta of Zee TV's, Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli believes in utilizing his free time for the betterment of the society.

Our source informed us that, "In his free time, Tarun travels to different villages of India along with a NGO to promote gender equality amid the villagers.

When contacted, Tarun asserted, "Yes in a free time I always try to help NGO's and to be frank I don't visit usually but help NGO whenever they need me or any financial aid. I am in touch with an NGO called Niryani that works for the cause of gender equality and education. There are many small towns where this NGO educate the masses about gender equality. I got to know about this NGO through one of my friend and I am in touch with them on regular basis. "

And sharing his take on Gender equality he said, "Gender equality can be promoted through literacy not only for women to fight for their rights but also to literate men as to upscale them to a broader and open mentality, then by mentioning, supporting and financing, as per your affordability, to NGO for destitute women. I find helping a NGO is my duty and this gives me utter satisfaction."
