Tapu and Sonu compete in exams in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah...

Bhide, while tutoring children of the society notices the lack of dedication from Jethalal's son Tapu (Bhavya Gandhi) and is concerned. He meets Jethalal (Dilip Joshi) to discuss his son's grades but is taken aback when Jetha defends his son and claims that he is a good student and is sincere in his studies. This results in yet another confrontation, resulting in a conflict between Bhide and Jethalal. Whilst Tapu in his usual self, is seen having fun with no stress or fear for his examinations, Bhide on the other hand pressurizes his daughter Sonu (Jheel Mehta) to perform well but fails to spend ample time with her.

Says Bhavya Gandhi aka Tapu, "In spite of my hectic shoot schedule, my teachers, principal and parents have been very supportive all throughout, when it comes to studies and exams. I am grateful to SAB TV and the production crew for encouraging me and my co-star kids to study and for adjusting the shoot schedule with my school timings. They have even allowed my tutor to come over to the set to teach. My message to all students is don't lose heart, give your 100% in what you do."

"Exam time is when parents should give their full support to their kids without pressurizing them. For me and my co-stars too it was not easy to be present for shoots at the same time, attend classes, and study for exams. All these can be achieved only if one manages his or her time well. My parents, SAB TV and the production team has been very accommodating till date, this very gesture makes me want to perform well in whatever I do", says Jheel Mehta.
