Taapsee Pannu gives a Befitting Reply to a Troll: “Don’t Question my Citizenship, Worry about yours”

Taapsee Pannu is quite the boss lady. Right from her unconventional yet powerful movies to bold opinions, she does not shy away from raising her voice for the right reasons. She often gets trolled for her outspoken behavior but knows how to deal with the nasty comments and gives it back to them like a boss.

It was just today morning that Taapsee stepped out to cast her vote with her family in the Delhi Assembly Elections. She posted a picture, flaunting her inked finger and urged her followers to go out and vote. Soon after, a social media user lashed out at her, stating that she should get her voting rights shifted to Mumbai as she resides in Mumbai and should no longer decide for those living in Delhi.

In response to the user’s tweet, Taapsee gave a befitting reply that read: “I am living in Delhi as much if not more than Mumbai. My income is taxed through Delhi and I am more of a Delhite than a lot of others who might just be living here but probably don’t contribute. Kindly don’t question my citizenship, worry about yours n your contribution to it.”

“And also to add, you can take a girl out of Delhi but you can not take Delhi out of this girl. And YOU are no one to tell me what I SHOULD do and what I SHOULD NOT! I guess this response will be enough to tell u how much of a Delhiite I am” she writes in another tweet.

Well, that’s quite a savage reply by the actress!

Meanwhile, on the work front, Taapsee is all set to shine on the silver screen yet again, with a strong script with Anubhav Sinha’s Thappad. Thappad sheds light on domestic violence and is set to hit theatres on February 28, 2020.
