Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin’s upcoming ‘Looop Lapeta’ to release on OTT on February 4th 2022

Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin's upcoming action thriller 'Looop Lapeta' has finally received a release date, which they announced on the internet today. Both actors took to their respective social media accounts to reveal the official film poster and confirm that it will be available digitally on February 4, 2022. 

Taapsee commented on the poster, "Hey jholer @tahirrajbhasin tu yeh shortcuts ke lapete mein phasna kab band karega!" She added, hinting at her character, "Can Savi save him this time?" You'll find out soon." 

Tahir Raj Bhasin, on the other hand, introduced his character Satya from the film by saying, "Savi! this is the only way we find out if love triumphs over the test of time. Hold my hand and let’s get this crazy roller coaster going ~ Satya."

Taapsee and Tahir finished filming for 'Loop Lapeta' in February 2021. In an announcement, the actress shared several behind-the-scenes photos from the film sets and penned a thank you note for the film team. "I ran behind some films and some have just thankfully fallen in my lap. This being the latter I couldn’t be more grateful to these guys and the luck line in my palm." She further revealed she was not willing to sign the film, but the script made her agree immediately. She penned, "From entering the narration with the idea to say No, to leaving it with an immediate Yes, thanks to these gentlemen for hanging by a solid script and concept for years and being more sure of me being Savi than I was. P.S- I guess in the end an actor has to ‘run’ behind/for a good script."

'Looop Lapeta,' the Hindi remake of the German hit 'Run Lola Run,' is directed by Aakash Bhatia and co-produced by Sony Pictures Films India, Ellipsis Entertainment, and Aayush Maheshwari.
