Taapsee Pannu addresses her wedding with Mathais Boe and why she did not share the pictures

Amidst swirling rumors and leaked videos, Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu has finally broken her silence about her intimate wedding with badminton player Mathias Boe. In an exclusive chat with HT City, the 36-year-old star confirmed the speculation, revealing her desire for the event to be a private affair.

Despite leaked videos circulating on social media and hints from friends and family in the industry, including Pavail Gulati, Abhilash Thapliyal, and Kanika Dhillon, Taapsee had remained tight-lipped about her nuptials until now. She expressed reluctance about making an official announcement or sharing wedding pictures on social media, citing concerns about subjecting her personal life and loved ones to public scrutiny.

Taapsee emphasized that while the intention was never to keep the wedding a secret, she wanted to shield her private life from the intense scrutiny that often accompanies such events. The actress, known for her strong stance on various issues, admitted to wanting to avoid judgments and perceptions that often follow public figures during significant life moments.

Acknowledging her reticence regarding her relationship and private life, Taapsee highlighted her desire to enjoy the wedding festivities without external pressures.

"I just didn’t want to make it a public affair, because then I will start getting worried about how it is perceived, rather than really enjoying the way I would want to do it. Subconsciously, I would start thinking about how it feels from the outside which I did not want to think about, especially for this one thing, because it’s hopefully happening once in life", she exclaimed. 

Taapsee also mentioned that in the future if she feels the time and situation is right she will think about publishing the pictures.
