Sushmita Sen is all set to return as Aarya Sareen in the upcoming third season of "Aarya." With the trailer dropping on October 12, fans are eagerly anticipating the thrilling journey of Aarya. In an interview with Pinkvilla, Sushmita revealed how her real-life experiences have inspired her portrayal of Aarya Sareen.
Speaking to Pinkvilla, Sushmita Sen shared insights about her role in "Aarya 3" and how her life experiences influenced her interpretation of Aarya Sareen.
The actress stated that, "No matter how imperfect you are in most of the jobs in your life, the people who love you and whom you call your own are somehow the only ones who lift you up and say that you are still good at it, even if you are not. But when they decide to tell you that you are bad at it, your world comes shattering down."
She continued, highlighting the universality of this experience, saying it has happened to everyone at some point. She further added, "This has happened to all of us at some point or another. I think that this itself was enough to draw from real experiences in 'Aarya' to break down the fact that the only place where you could find hope and some sense of belonging has been taken away from you."
For the unversed, in the new season, Sushmita's character is seen dealing with the Russians who were previously after her while also facing new threats from characters portrayed by Ila Arun and Indraneil Sengupta. The trailer showcases Aarya as a stronger, more determined, and fiercer character, often described as a "wounded tigress." Aarya declares, "To protect her kids, sometimes a mother has to become a destroyer."
