Sushmita Sen finally talks about her breakup with beau Rohman Shawl

Sushmita took to Instagram to confirm her breakup with model Rohman Shawl, putting all speculations and rumours to rest. For the first time, the actress opened up about her breakup while looking back on the year. 

Sushmita has always been unapologetically honest and unafraid to speak the truth, whether in her professional or personal life. When asked about her breakup with Rohman, Sushmita told a news portal that "closure" is important to her. 

She explained that when someone becomes a public figure, everyone associated with them becomes a public figure as well. " Even if the person is there, because you have put them there. “ So, it is not fair for his life or your life to be stuck with everyone feeling something or thinking it’s a relationship,”the actress told the Hindustan Times. 

When asked about the significance of closure, the actress says it's critical 'for both people so that they can move on in their lives.' "And yeah, the friendship always remains. At my age, if I sit and start thinking about the terrible thing, it is really my life that I wasted”.

When asked about her relationship lessons, the 46-year-old actress admits that she has grown in every relationship and that it is a beautiful thing to be able to speak one's truth.
