Sushant Singh Rajput’s Death: CBI to interrogate Five Doctors who Conducted Sushant’s Autopsy and Probe into Rhea’s presence at Hospital

CBI has finally taken over the case from Mumbai Police and the investigation of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has already set in motion. The team will be questioning the five doctors at 

Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14 at his Bandra residence and his death investigation has finally set in motion after the Supreme Court in its verdict on Wednesday (August 19) ordered the CBI to look into the case of the late actor. 

While a team of CBI officers have already taken Sushant’s cook Neeraj into custody for interrogation, a  Times Now report suggest that the CBI team will be questioning the five doctors of Cooper hospital who conducted the autopsy of Sushant. 

The report also suggested that they will be questioned about Rhea Chakraborty’s presence in the hospital on June 15 and who gave her access in the mortuary.

Earlier today, agency officers were spotted visiting the Bandra Police station to collect the case diary, the late actor’s phone, laptop, and other forensic data from Mumbai Police. If required, the team would also speak to the Mumbai Police DCP, with whom the family of Sushant shared a WhatsApp message in February this year citing threat to the life of the actor. 

Apart from that the CBI team will also visit the ‘Chhichhore’ actor’s Bandra residence today. 

Another Times of India report suggested that the team has asked the caretaker of the house to keep the keys of the house ready. The team will recreate the crime scene at the spot during the investigation.
