Sushant Singh Rajput honoured by director Abhishek Kapoor and wife Pragya as they feed 3,400 impoverished families!

Sushant Sigh Rajput’s untimely death has taken the entire film industry by a storm and celebrities are mourning the loss of a talented actor. The Chhichhore actor reportedly passed away due to suicide after hanging himself to death in his room. 

Many celebrities have poured in their tributes  to Sushant through social media handles. The late actor’s demise has left his fans and family members devastated.

Now, Sushant’s debut film Kai Po Che! Director Abhishek Kapoor has planned on paying a special tribute to him along with his wife Pragya Kapoor.

The couple has decided to feed 3,400 impoverished families through her NGO, Ek Saath: The Earth Foundation, in loving memory of the late actor.

They shared the news in an Instagram post and wrote: “We will miss you #sushantsinghrajput #ishaan #mansoor #kaipoche #kedarnath #abhishekkapoor #eksaathfoundation.” 

Speaking to IANS, Pragya said, “It’s our way of honouring him and his craft, everything he has done and achieved, to celebrate him and everything he stands for. As friends, it gives us something to hold on to.”

Abhishek and Pragya also attended Sushant’s funeral, which took place on June 15 2020. The actor’s last rites ceremony was performed on Monday at Pawan Hans crematorium in suburban Vile Parle. Owing to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, only close family members and friends were allowed to attend the funeral.
