Sushant Singh Rajput Death: CBI Files FIR Against 6 People Including Rhea Chakraborty & Her Brother Showik

On Thursday, the CBI registered FIR against 6 people including Rhea Chakraborty, Indrajit Chakraborty, Sandhya Chakraborty, Showik Chakraborty, Samuel Miranda, Shruti Modi, and others as accused in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. 

The transfer of investigation to the Supreme Court was recommended by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday evening. The recommendation has been accepted by the Centre and investigation regarding the Sushant Singh Rajput death case has been transferred to CBI.

The Central Bureau of Investigation got in touch with the Bihar Police to collect all the details from their investigation in the matter. CBI’s elite SIT (Special Investigation Team) will probe Sushant Singh case. 

The SIT is currently investigating the AgustaWestland scam and bank fraud case against Vijay Mallya, and will probe Sushant's case as well.

According to the sources, the SIT will be headed by Manoj Sashidhar, DIG Gagandeep Ghambir to supervise the probe and Anil Yadav will be the investigation officer.

CBI officials stated that the FIR will soon be uploaded on the agency’s website.
