Veteran actress Surekha Sikri is currently admitted to the ICU at Criticare Hospital in Mumbai after she suffered a brain stroke for the second time. Soon after the news came in, reports suggested that the veteran actress is in need of financial aid, and the likes of Sonu Sood, Gajraj Rao, Badhai Ho director Amit, and a few others, in fact, reached out to provide financial aid.

However, as it turns out, her manager, Vivek, went on to clarify as to how she does not need any financial assistance as she has her family as well as the finances required. None the less, he did express his gratitude to those who reached out to them, but right now, there is no such need and she has her son by her side.

Meanwhile, reports also suggest that the veteran actress is not responding very well to treatment and that her lungs are filled with fluid, which requires to be tapped and sent for analysis. As has been told by the hospital authorities, the clot (due to the stroke) will have to be removed and her recovery will take time as she is a little confused and while she can speak, it is only one word at a time. Since she has had an acute stroke, her responses are also faint and slow.

We wish the actress a speedy recovery!
