During his conversation with Aaj Tak, he discussed about the price surge and said, "My wife only brings vegetables that are fresh and last for only a couple of days. We prefer to have fresh vegetables. Responding to the criticism and negativity on social media, Shetty clarified that his intention was never to speak against farmers. He expressed his unwavering support for them and stressed the significance of promoting indigenous products. The actor sincerely apologized if any of his statements were misinterpreted or caused harm to the farming community.
