Mid-week blues are real and they can easily take shape of laziness that drives one to skip a good chance to dress up to the nines before stepping out. Luckily, we have found quite the remedy to combat these blues. And, what better counter can there be than a dash of pink? (see: On wednesdays, we wear pink!, Mean Girls, anyone?)

Niti Taylor has nailed not one, but two looks revolving around the colour pink and we just had to bring it to the spotlight. The Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan actress wore an ethnic ensemble in a pretty mix of pink and gold. Take a look-

She wore a lehenga with gold details and a dupatta with gold sequins and borders. We absolutely adore how this look incorporates two shades of pink in a tasteful mix. The mang tikka and nose-ring are a great addition to glam up the look. This makes for a great day look or occasions that call for traditional wear.

The next look is a great evening ensemble that is just the perfect way to get dolled up for a night out. Here's what a combination of subdued pink and dark pink sequins looks like-

The floral pattern in dark pink keeps the otherwise plain gown from being plain. The gown also has aesthetic pink lace detail that adds subtle charm to the look. It is a great transition piece from day to night out.
