Reports are rife that Ankita Lokhande has been approached to play a pivotal role in Karan Johar’s ‘Student Of The Year 3’, which is slated to be a web series. Several reports that are making rounds on the internet also suggest that the actress has declined the offer.

However, the news is untrue, and Ankita was never involved in it. The reports of the actress declining the series are fake and untrue.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ankita was seen playing the role of Yamunabai in the Randeep Hooda-directed historical drama Swatantrya Veer Savarkar. The actress delivered a power-packed performance and received immense appreciation for her portrayal. After the film's success, she collaborated for the first time with her husband, Vicky Jain, for the song ‘Laa Pila De Sharaab’.

Currently, Ankita is on a roll as she prepares to play a royal courtesan in Sandeep Singh’s magnum opus series, Amrapali.
