Star Plus' 'KarnSangini' to have another entrant on-board

Star Plus' magnum opus KarnSangini is the most awaited show starring Ashim Gulati, Kinshuk Vaidya and Tejasswi Prakash. Recently, the makers launched two promos of the mythological series.

According to reports, actor Vishnu Sharma from Sony TV's Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai, will join the stellar cast of KarnSangini. He will portray the character of Vidur from Mahabharata.

Vidur is the uncle of the Pandavas and Kauravas. He is also the Minister (Mahamantri) in the court of King Dhritarashtra, who is known for his wisdom.

The show produced under Shashi Sumeet Productions, also features actors Paras Chhabra, Sayantani Ghosh, Madirakshi Mundle, Ruslaan Sayed, Randheer Rai, Ruslaan Sayed, Yajunvendra Singh, Shivendraa Om Saainiyol and Deepak Chadha in major roles.

KarnSangini is based on the ancient Indian epic Mahabharata where the main story will revolve around the life of the tragic and unsung hero Karna and his wife Uruvi.

Initially, the show was supposed to launch on 2nd October, but due to Navratri celebrations, the makers pushed the release to 22nd October.
