Star One launches Ranvir and Vinay Aur...Kaun?? - Boman Irani on Sets!

A Unique Situational Comedy Show wherein the hosts Ranvir Shorey and Vinay Pathak bring a unique freshness every week…The show is a combination of an interview which is treated like a sit-com and is an opportunity for the viewers to see their favourite celebs in their own space - as they are! Beginning August 06, 2007, from Monday to Thursday at 10 pm, enter the world of Ranvir and Vinay and get hooked to this new series on Star One!!

A fun alternative to the conventional, tried and tested Interview shows, this show in set in Vinay and Ranvir’s new bachelor apartment which is visited by a new celebrity everyday.

Our reporter Hiral Anju Bhatt made it to the posh apartment on Vinay and Ranvir, where we spotted the versatile Comedy King Boman Irani having a Day-out with the busy Bachelors in town…

From bagging memorable roles such as Dr. Asthana in Munna Bhai MBBS to the ‘Bad Man’ Khurana in Khosla Ka Ghosla, Boman Irani has made a mark in the Movie Industry. An upbeat and excited Boman Irani was happy to be a part of this show and he was at home as the three of them connected well in no time. After the shoot with Boman Irani, the Telly Buzz team caught up with the ace Comedian Boman Irani. Talking about the hosts, Boman acclaims, “I am really excited to be here.Vinay and Ranvir are great actors and wonderful human beings. I have loved their work in movies.” “I like the whole concept, its very intriguing, but they just need to change this couch”, says Boman as he tries his level best to get adjusted to the couch. Talking about his forthcoming movies, Boman quotes, “I am doing Sajid’s ‘Heyy Baby’. This is one hilarious movie. Sajid has done a great job, he has even some nice touchy moments in the film. A must-watch, I would say!!.”

An emotionally disturbed Boman Irani commented on his friend and co-actor Sanjay Dutt saying, “I could not sleep thinking of Sanju. The verdict needs to be out soon.Either this side or that, how much has this man have to go thro’ yaar? Everyone has ups and downs, but in Sanju’s case, he’s just been pushed far enough. Whatever the judge decides, we will always be there for him. Come on, a man does make mistakes, it does not mean that you canjust go on testing his patience.”

As Boman Irani makes an exit from the apartment, we had another celebrity on the Hot seat.. Former Miss India and Universe, the extremely gorgeous Gul Panag who touched many a hearts with her overwhelming performance in Dor was next to strike a chord with the hosts Vinay and Ranvir. Gul quotes, “It was really funny being here. These two guys are completely full of energy and I enjoyed the shoot. Both are different, yet so charming and funny.”

A contemporary setting which has its roots in Comedy, this is a unique combination of a realistic interview with celebrities which makes it a light hearted viewing experience. Get ready friends for this Situational Comedy starting August 6th 2007, very monday to thursday, at 10 pm only on Star One!
