Ssharad Malhotra says he is 'lucky' as he shares his FIRST picture with Ripci Bhatia

We were the first ones to tell you that Ssharad Malhotra is all set to take the huge plunge with girlfriend Ripci Bhatia after all. The actor will be taking the marriage vows this April. Ssharad for the first time shared a picture with Ripci from the Ganpati puja, where he is holding her hands. He wrote "They say ur lucky ...I say, I'm lucky @ripci.bhatia #ripsha #ganpatibappamorya #nowandforever. 

The duo also took blessings from the Golden Temple. While the duo has never shared pictures until now with each other. Ripci has shared a picture from their outing for the first time and penned a cute post.

Recently, Ripci shared a picture of her hand embracing a ring on someone's hand and captioned it, "Each day..All day...In love..now and forever'#isaidyes #happyvalentinesday #themostbeautifulone #memories #anighttoremember"[sic] This post left us wondering if Ssharad chose the D-day to pop the question or not.

Meanwhile, talking about the marriage and how it happened, Ssharad told in a statement, "Ripci and my sister have known each other for a while since they are fellow designers. My sister had introduced us a couple of years back. We exchanged occasional pleasantries on social media. Recently, both the families got involved and we both spoke over the phone for a few days. We both instantly knew this is it and decided to take the plunge. And yes, for a change we didn't want to date each other first! In fact, it all happened in a very old-fashioned way for us as we said yes without as much as meeting each other!" 

He further added, "Ripci is a fashion designer who has been travelling the globe constantly for the last 6 years. She had decided to get back to the country to introduce her label in India."
