Squid Game 3 will release in the year 2025. We will see the final conclusion on whether Gi-Hun (Lee Jung-jae) finally manages to find The Frontman (Lee Byung-Hun) and end this fatal death game. Squid Game 2 got a smashing opening for Netflix. The show grabbed the top spot in 93 countries, which is a record. Squid Game’s first season was a huge money-spinner for the OTT platform. Writer and director Hwang Dong-Hyuk said he has been living Squid Game since past three years, and is feeling exhausted. The third season of Squid Game will have new twists and turns.

After the success of Squid Game, we had seen a picture of Leonardo DiCaprio with Lee Jung-jae. It was from an awards function. Rumours are floating around that the Hollywood icon will do a cameo in season three of the blockbuster show. The Korean news outlet OSEN had reported that he would do a cameo and he had finished filming his portions for the same. They had referred to the picture of Lee Jung-jae and Leonardo taken two years ago. However, the streaming platform Netflix said the rumours were baseless. They said there is no truth to the same.

Squid Game 2 has also made news because of Park Sung-Hoon’s Instagram post. He posted an adult Japanese 18+ parody of the show on his Insta stories. Netizens criticized him as it related to rape porn. The actor’s agency said it happened by mistake as he was flooded with DMs, edits and congratulatory messages. Park Sung-Hoon was the most striking character of Squid Game 2 as Hyun-Ju. The cisgender actor played the role of a transgender man. There was some controversy regarding the casting but Dong-Hyuk said that trans actors were not as forthcoming in Korea due to social discrimination. He said he wanted to highlight the marginalized sections of society.
